2026 Spooky Season Preview

Summer ween is coming to an end, the days are getting shorter, Halloween is beginning to take over the stores, and horror fans everywhere are starting to plan what the next two months will look like. This is the point when, for horror fans, anticipation becomes part of the fun. We start building watch lists, we revisit old traditions, we argue about what counts as essential October viewing, we try to keep up with Sean's Halloween list, and we even try to fit far more into the calendar than we should probably do as reasonable people, but here at Hackerslash, we're even making that tradition. Summerween gave us this incredible season with the community, and now we're preparing for an even bigger stretch of reviews, new releases, games, watch parties, bonus episodes, and even daily content. Some of it will take us back to the movies and franchises that shaped us as horror fans, and some of it will give us entirely new reasons to gather around the campfire. This week we're giving you a preview of our 2026 spooky season. Spooky season greetings and salutations, and welcome to Hacker Slash. My name is Chris, I'm your friendly neighborhood slasher enthusiast, and this week I'm joined by the classic horror connoisseur Sean.

And the paranormal paramour thinks. Now, as I mentioned before, Summerween gave us a reason to get together during a part of the year that horror fans don't always get to claim, and now we're doing it with a little bit more intention. At this point, though, we're heading into the stretch where everybody already associates with horror. All your non-horror friends are coming out of the woodwork and asking for advice and trying to see your letterbox. And there's no shortage of things to watch in October, so we want to just make sure the month still feels like ours. But before we even start discussing our plans for the spooky season, I want you to think about one of your favorite memories of watching a horror movie. Not necessarily the best horror movie you've seen, but think about the moment itself. Where were you? Who was with you? Were you in a theater? Was it a sleepover? Was it a rental from Hollywood video or Blockbuster? Was it something you found on cable when you're probably actually too young to even be watching it?

Definitely that one. It's always that one with me. I really was watching things that I really shouldn't have. I was just talking to my best friend yesterday about this. My poor grandparents just had no clue what was on the freaking TV. No five-year-old has any right to be watching Existence, to be watching The Thing, to be watching Mars Attacks. All of these like films that were I was just a little too young. A little too young.

Somebody told me the other day that they watched Saw at like four years old, which I'm sure they didn't retain, but like at the same time, at four years old, that's a lot of violence.

Man, my first horror movie ever was Children of the Corn. So actually, no, that's not even anywhere near Saw level violence. Actually, is it?

No, it might be a little bit more because it's we have to remember that the Saw movies that came later are really, really, really gory. The first Saw movie That's true.

Yeah, it's a little dingy, a little moldy looking, you know.

Very, very poopy, that's fair. But I feel like my best horror movie, like experience and like the ambiance and favorite memory of it is is that though. Like being at my grandparents' house in the living room. My grandmother would make me cafe con noche, which is you know, like coffee and milk, it's like a Cuban thing, but make me that, and pancakes before bed. A choice. I know she's pancakes, coffee and pancakes. It was breakfast basically for the city.

And then you're going to bed.

And then I'm going to bed. I swear to God, that was my like before-bed meal, and I would watch movies in little small, small, small CRTV. It was the best. And it was blockbuster rentals. Although when you pulled that Hollywood video, I was like, oh shit, we do not talk enough about Hollywood videos specifically.

It's a gem for sure. It was always like what's whatever's closest. I had a Hollywood video close to me, I had a Blockbuster close to me. Both nostalgic in their own rights for sure. Man. I mean, anybody that that has listened to this show enough will probably know that like my fondest memories of watching horror are literally watching horror with my grandmother for sure as well. She was just into older like history stuff. She would watch a lot of like just ancient Egypt stuff. So she would watch like Cleopatra and like things like that. And so I got into that. And then, you know, eventually it just came on that she was watching The Mummy with Boris Karloff. So I was like, oh, this is really cool. So we just got into that. Back in those days, you know, in LA at the time, if anyone knows, like I don't even know if it's still called this, but because cable's all fucking like a lost thing now. But KTLA, you know, KTLA channel fucking five had all the movie greats, they would play all the universal monster movies. Elvira's movie macabre was there. Freddy's Nightmares double feature. Like there was some really cool stuff on that channel. So like we would just watch that channel all the time. She liked the classics, then something like this would pop on, watch some nightmare on Elm Street, and it's just a good time, you know.

I love that. I didn't know about Freddy's Nightmares until one, I bought the vinyl, and two, it became available on Tubi, and they have been such a blast. Like, actually, now I've kind of subbed out from just watching shark movies when I'm sick, and I just throw on Freddy's Nightmares. And then I sometimes bookend it with the Phantom of the Opera that Robert Englund was in.

Man, I had so many great memories growing up watching horror movies. And I I think about even just some of the fondest memories, and they're probably like during my sleepovers with my cousins. And there to this day, there is a movie that I cannot even remember what the hell the movie was. But it was giving like senior class, maybe freshman in college, going through some kind of like hazing ritual. It was not hell night for sure. But there was like some kind of spooky specter involved. If you think about the movie The Initiation, it's like that movie, but three tiers down in terms of quality. And one day I'm gonna figure out what the hell this was. But my absolute favorite memory, and I'll never forget this, was getting to watch Scream for the first time. And this was not watching it in theaters, this was watching it in the home that we were renting in Texas. Myself, actually, yeah, it was me, my two sisters, and my brother Danny, and we were making Jiff, we were Jiffy Pop family at the time. So we were making Jiffy Pop. We also had a couch that was right in front of the sliding glass door, and the sliding glass door led out to a patio that had a floodlight, but right beyond the patio, like the cement slab, pitch black, total darkness. So I want you to imagine in 1996. Well, actually, no, this it's early 1997 at this point. By the time it like comes out, it's available to watch at home. And you're in the middle of fucking nowhere. You're raised as a city kid. Now you're out in the country, and one of the things that is significant is when Casey Becker talks about calling the police and Ghostface says they'll never make it in time. I shit you not. I was terrified of that sliding glass door forever, but I'll never forget the excitement of watching that movie and feeling so creeped out. We had our jiffy pop, we had our blankets, and it was just like a peak memory of just like growing up bonding over horror.

No, it's I wish I had that experience watching it for sure. I mean, I I I remember I remember watching that movie a ton. I know when it came out to rent and it was on VHS, I I also have a lot of really fond memories of like I feel like we every chance we got, we were throwing that movie on as kids for sure. That's how memorable it is. I wish I had that experience though, to have the I never was a Jiffy Pop kid. I never had the Jiffy Pop. I never I was always just you either bought the move the microwave popcorn or you're at the movies and got the popcorn, but we never made the Jiffy Pop popcorn.

Word on the street is you can still find Jiffy Pop some places, and I don't know that it's a wise idea to make on a glass top stove. I think it's it's actually not a good thing to do that. But I I desperately want to repop some Jiffy pop. But I I mean just think about this for a moment. We want to understand why they stayed with us. We want to create new ones together with our community. And really a lot of our plans this year are built around creating more of those shared experiences together.

Definitely. And I mean, what better time than now? September is spooky preseason. Okay, my favorite month. I'm sure it's Sean's as well. It's the stretch when those decorations are gonna start to go up, y'all. Except I gotta get started soon. I gotta get started real freaking soon because everyone's gonna start building those watch lists. They're gonna start decorating. We're all going to pretend like we're gonna pace ourselves, but the next thing you know, you've watched 50 horror movies and you still got 20 more days of you know, September and October and spooky season to go, right? It happens every time. It really does. And this year, September also gives us a major new release, which I'm excited about, but I know for a fact that Chris is pumped about. And it's Halloween the game, y'all.

Rest in peace, Tim Curry. I am shivering with anticipation. I have been counting down the days, the weeks, the months to seeing this come through. And every single time I'm on Reddit or I see a new clip from this game post, like today they just talked about roll roll queue. I am just absolutely losing my fucking mind. And I don't even get excited for video games like this.

I'm even excited. I think that this is gonna be really fun, and this is exciting just all around for the IP. I mean, the digital release is coming out September 8th, so like really happy birthday, Sean. And then early access begins September 4th, which is like, you know, post high birthday me. So it's a good time. And we're planning, of course, bonus coverage throughout the month. We're gonna have public episodes and Patreon exclusives. So now's the time to really be integrating this game into the pod.

Yeah, we're gonna have a lot of fun with this. And I I do want to be very clear on one incredibly important aspect of this. Banks is a gamer. I'm not really a gamer, I don't know video games, but I do know Halloween, and I'm not gonna pretend I can evaluate this like somebody who covers games professionally. Absolutely not. There are people who get really sweaty over games. That's not me. I'm really just here to help bring you along in the journey of does this game understand the movie? Does it understand Michael Myers? And holy shit, does it feel like Haddonfield? And Sean, as someone who was from the West Coast, I am so excited for you to get to even watch some of the gameplay and compare it to the scenes from the movie because they look fucking identical. The fidelity is outrageous.

Yeah, it'll it will be really cool. Uh, it's like the game is definitely something that's like been looming over me of like, dude, I I don't like really play a lot of video games, I don't have gaming consoles. It's like fuck, should I even get a gaming console so I can play this game? It's like I'm teetering, I'm teetering, but it's it's a slippery slope. But if I even if I didn't play the game, just looking at some of the gameplay, I'm really excited to see what they can do with it. How do they bring this to life? I I feel like you know, there have been horror video games in the past. I wonder if this one is gonna get it right, you know. I really hope it does.

I have so much confidence in this. Sean, listen, I have my Xbox that's connected in my office, and then I have my PlayStation in my living room. If you fucking want to play this game, I will take you my Xbox. I'm not gonna take you my PlayStation, but I will take you my Xbox, and then the three of us can fucking throw down. It's gonna be a lot of fun.

We might have to. I mean, I'm just thinking, like, it's gotta be super fun. I'm trying to decide right now, like if it's gonna be what's gonna be more fun. Is it gonna be more fun to try to escape Michael Myers? Is it gonna be more fun to be Michael Myers? Do you even get the I don't know, I haven't looked too far into it. Do you get the choice? Can you just fucking Yeah?

Okay, so we're gonna talk and we're gonna do a primer episode where we think we talk about everything that we know so far for the game and kind of talk through some expectations. But Sean, yeah, you can cue for either I don't have a preference and I want to be Michael or civilians, or you can say, No, I only want to be civilians, or or no, I only want to be Michael. Obviously, everybody wants to be fucking Michael Myers, so your queue time is probably gonna be very long. What they have done, which is really interesting, is instead of just like sitting here in this crazy long queue, you actually earn killer tokens by comp playing in and competing in matches. So then when you get a certain amount of tokens, you can then spend those tokens to lessen your queue time for Michael. But here's the thing this is probably a little bit silly. I love playing Dead by Daylight. I am shitty as killer, I'm not fucking good at it at all. I play survivors with Michael Myers specifically. I bought him in Dead by Daylight because how can I not buy something that's Michael Myers? I never really wanted to play him though, because I have such a reverence for Michael Myers that I only want to exist in the world with him. I'm gonna try to fucking survive him and escape him, but I I don't think I have the chops to really do him justice. So I won't, I will probably not aside from the single-player story mode where you do play as Michael, I don't think I'm gonna be doing that in multiplayer.

I see myself dying as him, as them, as everybody. I played Dead by Daylight. What was it, Chris? Once or twice, I think. I was stressed out of my mind.

We gotta move, we gotta move quick. It would be, I mean, it I'm sure it's really fun to be Michael Myers, but I feel like the the thrill of it will be to try to survive Michael Myers. That's where I think the fun is gonna be.

A hundred percent. I'm right there with you. I I cannot wait for it. The gameplay looks incredible, and you're gonna hear more from us once we actually have the game in hand. I was a fiscally irresponsible adult and pre-ordered this across too many platforms too many times. But some of our coverage will be public. So we're gonna do probably the primer episode, a couple key ones that'll be public. Some will be just on Patreon, and then also we're getting back into dabbling with some live streaming on YouTube and Twitch. So that'll be a fun time. But of course, Halloween is only one component of our spooky preseason. There's also a whole slew of movies that tap into our theme of nostalgia.

Yeah, I'm actually really excited. We have a lot of really cool stuff lined up for everyone. And I mean, it's even just really exciting for us, the lineup. You know, it's it's bringing us back to some old franchises, some fun franchises, some movies that I think are gonna be really great, some new ones. In fact, I think the next one up here, we're gonna have Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, which I think, man, I actually cannot wait to talk about. There's a lot to unpack with this movie, so that's gonna be really exciting. But when you look ahead, we've got things like Buddy, that's a new movie, but it's really tapping into childhood. If you're a Barney kid or anything like that, this is gonna be something, you know.

So I feel like even if it's a new movie, it's gonna tap into some kind of childhood memory for sure. And then we get to revisit the nightmare in Elm Street with Freddy's Dead. We've got Resident Evil, which is the new Resident Evil, but you know, whether you're a fan of the game or a fan growing up watching the OG Resident Evil movies, you're probably excited for this one. Going back to our beloved universe, you know, with Annabelle, the you know, the conjuring universe, classics from the 90s, when a stranger calls back, Bride of Chucky, can't go wrong, Saw, and of course, like Halloween Resurrection is just a gem as as it is. So, you know, a lot of fun stuff, but that's just a little snippet, right? I'm just excited. These are just a handful of movies, so just think about like how fun this season's gonna be, you know.

I am I am absolutely elated that we're finally at the point of doing Bride of Chucky, especially because this will be my first time watching Bride of Chucky against the backdrop of having Sean in my life of as such a bride of Frankenstein's den and just the parallels of that because you know you you watch Bride of Chucky, and it's quite the experience, actually. My nephew and I were just talking about Seed of Chucky and that whole thing. So that is going to be ripe with discussion. I cannot wait to get into it. And I think what you mentioned, Sean, we're tapping into a lot of franchises that maybe have been on the back burner in our lineup. So when A Stranger Calls was an episode we did in the very beginning of the show. Uh, if you haven't seen the 90s TV sequel, this is a very nostalgic feeling for me because I remember watching this with my sisters and being freaked the fuck out at the end of this movie. I cannot wait to see what you all think of it. Uh but of course, uh, when you think of these franchises that were resurrecting, there's another franchise that's being resurrected in Friday the 13th. But not quite Friday the 13th, it's of course the Crystal Lake series. Uh so on October 15th, uh Crystal Lake is gonna premiere on Peacock, but it's not just premiering, we're it's dropping all the episodes at once. Uh so it's an A24 prequel, it's it centers on Pamela Voorhees, who is played by Linda Cartellini, uh, and that immediately makes it one of the biggest horror television events of the season for us. Uh and the interesting part is that uh while Pamela has always been foundational to Friday the 13th, uh the franchise has never really allowed her to be the true center of the story. So I'm really excited to see how this experience feels getting to view her life in the early days of Crystal Lake.

I think it's gonna be very interesting. I think that we want to see like what's what's this gonna how are we gonna tap into Pamela Voorhees a little bit deeper? Where is this story gonna go? You know, I think you know, we want to see the maternal devastation curdling into something else. Like, what is this gonna look like? Uh, I don't know. It's very interesting. I'm really excited to see what they do with this series.

Well, I just think that Pamela Voorhees is just a fascinating character that we don't really ever like see from her perspective throughout all of these different movies. This is a mother who has lost her child and goes off her rocker, right? But it's just that. We don't really peel the layers of what that must be and feel like. And Linda Cartellini, man, she is the best at that stuff. She is the best at portraying someone with just a little bit of a screw loose. She was in an Apple TV series that just came out recently called DTF, that was very bizarre and very funny. There's other really good shows that she's been in where she plays very fascinating, like multidimensional characters. And I think she's hilarious to watch, super dynamic. I, man, I love her. I'm really excited for this one. I think it's gonna be really good. And I'm really happy, though, that we get all the episodes at once. Usually I actually like to kind of pace it out, build that tension and excitement. I have something to look forward to, but this is one that I'm going to gobble up and watch all in one sitting, no doubt about it.

I can't. I have to, I hate having to wait a week to the next episode and anything. Just give it to me all at once, and I can watch. Like, if I can't watch it all in one sitting, that's on me, but at least I know it's there. You know what I mean?

I was actually so prepared for them to release this weekly, like Welcome to Dairy. And I had this whole plan of like how we're gonna incorporate this into the spooky season, and then these motherfuckers said, No, we're gonna give it to you all at once, which personally I love professionally. I'm like, fuck, because now I gotta figure out how to do this. But it's okay. Because I think what we'll do is actually have a nice little watch party moment. I pretty sure I took that week off of work in preparation for this. So maybe we'll do a nice little late night stream, but we'll do again, kind of like Halloween the game, we'll do like a primer episode talking about some predictions, we'll do an overall reaction, and then we want to hear from you on what your ideas are. Do you want an episode-by-episode recap? What do you want to do?

Oh, yeah, definitely. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on how we should tackle this because one thing's for sure, we're gonna be talking about it. That's that's without a doubt. I sure will I'm counting down the days, guys. This is gonna be so good. But I gotta say, our lovely demonic darling Chell, she's been working her magic again and she's been curating an incredible. 31 Days of Horror Calendar for our community. And this year we're going to take it a step further and have daily themes you can pair with the 31 days calendar. And that's going to shape how we're bringing this to life in our Discord server, of course. So, for example, we're going to have Sleepover Saturdays where we have these like late-night streams of classic shows like Tales from the Crypt. And I love that vibe, man.

That's so good. I just started watching Tales from the Crypt again because it ended up on Shudder. And I gotta tell you, I got to, I got, okay, so I have like a very weird, distinct memory of me being a child in in the 90s and like my parents watching Tales from the Crypt and me always begging to stay up to watch it, and then them always like, no, you're you're not you're not gonna be able to sleep. And I'm like, no, let me watch it, let me watch it. And I'd finally get to watch it. And then of course I would have trouble sleeping. And that was the whole thing. And there was one episode that I hadn't seen since then. And it was an episode where, like, this, where this like uncle, nephew duo, he like the uncle works at like a funeral home or whatever, he whatever, like somehow he cheats bodies into going into like you know, he reuses coffins, he does all this weird stuff to scam people, and he ends up killing his nephew. And his nephew was so tall he wouldn't fit in the casket, so he like chopped his legs off, and then there was this scene where he's coming down the stairs, and you see the legs come down the stairs first, and then his ghostly body comes down, and it was like really frightening for me as a little kid. And um, there was a distinct sound that that made, and my I remember my stepdad making me go to sleep and then making that sound in the hallway later in the night just kind of tormenting me, which sounds really fucked up, but it's a very distinct memory. But I finally stumbled upon that episode again as I was binging through Tales from the Crypt. Sorry, I had to derail you for a second there. It was a while ago.

That listen, I feel like Tales from the Crypt is something that is like a quintessential cornerstone of the whole of the Halloween like vibe, you know, especially for our generation. I we don't talk about it enough, at least from like my me and my friend group. And I feel like now that you've brought this up and you said it's on Shudder, I feel like it's my duty to bring this up to everybody else and preach, like, hey, get on Shudder, watch this, it's a vibe. Get out on our Discord, how about that? Join us on our sleepover Saturdays, just have it on in the background. It's like it's it's a sweet comfort or scary comfort, either one.

I want to read to you what our weekly themes are because I want you to taste and I want you to know that yes, you could decide to center, like so. Obviously, we'll have day one through 31 that will have its own theme. And then you can add this like a double theme to kind of curate your pick and help you choose. But for the most part, a lot of these are going to be how we engage as a community, what we do together. So we have Sunday Scaries and Chell writes, Nothing turns the gut more than when the weekend is almost over and a whole week of school is ahead of you. We will embrace those anxious feelings with horror movie themes that push us a little out of our comfort zones and show us that maybe that first period algebra test won't be so scary after all.

Oh man, I felt that to my core. I'm not even in school anymore, and I feel those Sundays scaries because to me it's almost like the dread of the email that I have to send out and the training that I have to facilitate. Brutal.

But fitting, we have monster Mondays, and she writes, Let's face it, Mondays are a beast all their own. We will fight fire with fire by enjoying horror movies that feature some of our favorite on-screen monsters and creatures.

And then we have time travel Tuesdays. Allow yourself to go back in time to the golden ages of horror as we watch movies from multiple decades to truly appreciate the way horror has helped shape our lives for better or worse. Now, one of the things that's gonna be really fun here. When we think about like the bonus episodes that we do in October, a little bit of history lessons may come up in there.

I'm gonna leave some of the other ones a mystery, but I want to share my favorite one. Throwback Thursdays. Time to give ourselves all the warm and fuzzy feelings of remembering when we were baby horror fans, so innocent and unaware of the world that uh that has awaited them. This will be an easier day, focus on the themes and genres that made us fall in love with horror movies as kids. And some of the things that we're gonna be looking out for this year, we want some time capsule photos of some old Halloween costumes. We want, if you're gonna go out there and get in your McDonald's boo buckets, we want those too. Nice. Anything that helps you relive and reconnect to the magic of Halloween, we want it on throwback throwback Thursdays.

I absolutely love it. Now, obviously, as we wrap up our preview of Spooky Season, I think an important thing to do is actually think about what we were most excited for. So, Sean Binks, and even for our listener, I want you to also comment, you're part of this conversation. Which of our movies are you most excited to review?

I can man, if I can be really honest, right now, first thing that comes out of my mind is the new Resident Evil movie. Can I just say it? But here's why. I think it's no surprise because of how much I've talked about Resident Evil in my history on this podcast that I love it a little too much. I am currently replaying Resident Evil 2, and I have thrown the controller across my living room several times. Absolutely terrified. And I just have a very soft spot for OG, I guess we can call it OG Resident Evil adaption, you know, like it's not the best, but it's funny. And everyone knows where they were when they saw that scene of the lasers slicing them to little cubes. Okay. So you know it's just it's just perfect.

I hear Resident Evil and I do not think about the Resident Evil movie and the laser and the cubes and the meat cubes specifically. I don't think of that. I think of the 90s coming home for a holiday break, driving from Texas, and then spending the whole night in my cousin's room with all my other cousins watching him play Resident Evil 2. Yeah, and being so fucking scared, uh wanting to try, being too scared to try. Still haven't really done that yet. In fact, uh one of my nephew's first nights here now, he actually walked me through the whole fucking Resident Evil 2 game. And he's like, Well, you know, these are all the options. Here are the differences in the in the remastered version. Here's why Claire is such a better hero than Leon. Here's why Leon's overrated. I'm like, oh my god, I've been misguided this whole time.

I like Zach Krager, so I'm like, okay, this isn't gonna be a ball, despite it being his version and whatnot, but he knows the games, so I have, you know, I have some faith in that. I'm just I'm ready for it. I will take Resident Evil in any form in any way. I don't really care. I'm I'll never get sick of it. I feel the same way about Silent Hill, though. So I it's both I Ps I'm just like a nerd for.

I just remember playing that game and literally being like, this is dark and I can't see shit, and I'm getting attacked by zombies, and I got no weapons. Somehow I have nothing. And it's yeah.

But I'm like, I'm like you guys with the vibes and the color RGB lighting in the room, and I'm like, okay, I can do this, and I'm just terrified. It's good. Um $12 right now. I bought it at Target. Oh shit. The remake, of course, obviously. I mean, so I'm playing the OG Veronica as well, and man, whoa, because we don't even really appreciate the graphics that we have now and how where technology's at, because the if you play some of these like OG games that we used to when we were kids now, you can't see shit actually. Like Claire is a bunch of squares. You can't even make up her whole face, it's just squares all around. You can't see shit. I'm like trying to navigate everywhere. You can't by the way, autosave, whoa, thank God for that. Because my brother used to tell me I was too little at the time, but when he played the original Resident Evil, he just left the PlayStation on because like at that point, either you go get to the typewriter or you're fucked, buddy, and you're replaying that thing. Insane.

It's tough, it's a tough gig back then. Things were harder back in my day. Man, I had to get to an actual save zone. Oh man. I'm I'm actually it's hard to like pick any one thing that's most exciting to review or talk about. I'm really just excited to be either good or bad, doesn't matter, just revisiting a lot of these older franchises or stuff we haven't talked about in a while, just because some of it, even though they may not all be great movies, they're just gonna be fun to talk about, you know? It's just gonna be a good time to kind of re-explore, re-watch. It's been years for some of these movies, so I think it's gonna be really fun.

Halloween Resurrection is not the best film in its franchise. I don't want you to think that's what I'm saying. But what I am saying is it is also beloved in our community for reasons that are entirely campy and lean into the hilarity of how absurd it can be. I am ready for that fucking movie. I have a NECA figure from Halloween Resurrection that I have been specifically waiting for that episode to be able to unbox and review. I am just so fucking stoked for it. Of course, that's a cop-out answer for me, I suppose, because why wouldn't my mostly looking for my most anticipated episode be a Michael Myers episode? I'm also excited for the game. I'm excited for the Crystal Lake series. There's just so much to look forward to this spooky season, and uh it feels like I know we've done there's past years where we've done just a lot of stuff, but I'm excited for uh tapping into the joy of stuff this year in particular.

Yeah. I've been needing like a really good all-in spooky season. Last spooky season, I I was in Japan, so although an incredible experience that I'm super grateful for, it was really rainy over there. It was just a different type of Halloween vibe, you know, and I'm ready to like be here, be at home, be with you guys, with the community, just do it all. Literally, all of the traditions, all the things as much as I can.
